BPO welcomes a new member

BPO Board officially confirmed the membership of a new entity in the Baltic Ports Organization: Fintraffic VTS.

Recently, the organization has been developing more dynamically and this is another admission of a member in recent months. Welcome on board!

Fintraffic VTS is a subsidiary of Fintraffic Oy, a special assignment company with 1,200 professionals operating under the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland. Fintraffic Oy oversees traffic management across land, air, and sea through its four specialized subsidiaries.

As a key player in maritime traffic management, Fintraffic VTS is dedicated to advancing core traffic control services and developing innovative solutions for data-driven and digitalized services. Notable initiatives include the NEMO EMSW system and the POLO port and maritime information management system.

Committed to fostering collaboration among Baltic Sea maritime stakeholders, Fintraffic VTS strives to optimize maritime traffic and streamline logistics chains through cutting-edge digital technologies.
