On 8 October, after session II, an official handover of the BPO flag to the host of BPC 2026 took place.

Alan Aleksandrowicz, Vice-President of the Management Board for Finance and Security at the Port of Gdańsk Authority as the representative of this year’s BPC host, handed over the symbolic BPO flag to Antti Pekanheimo, Chief Operating Officer at the Port of Turku Ltd, the representative of next year’s BPC host.
