General Information

The Port of Pori is a general port handling all kind of goods. The Port of Pori consists of two harbors: Mäntyluoto and Tahkoluoto.

In Mäntyluoto harbor project cargo, sawn goods and other break-bulk cargoes as well dry bulk is handled. There are also very good Ro-Ro facilities available, but they are not in use at the moment.

Deep harbor for dry bulk and chemical harbor for oil and chemicals are situated in Tahkoluoto. 

The Port of Pori has excellent lifting capacity including a 200 tonnes fixed harbor crane and a 144 tonnes mobile crane. In Tahkoluoto there is dust minimized loading system for dry bulk. The fairways to the harbors are deep: 15.3 m fairway to Tahkoluoto and 12.0 m fairway to Mäntyluoto.  Port of Pori has the best ice conditions in Finland and the land transport connections are uncongested. A major part of Finnish industry is located within 4 hours from the Port of Pori - in the M20 Industrial Park.
